Class Description
This course is one-hour sessions each week for six weeks in the instruction of K-9 scent detection training for the public.
Method taught is the same method used to instruct to Police and Military Detector Dog Handlers.
No prior training is required. Nose work is a great way to build a better bond with your dog, stimulate their minds, exercise, and improve working and obedience skills. This is a low impact course that is open to dogs of all ages.
This introductory course will teach the Handler needed skills in working search patterns, learn terminology, imprint four scent odors through a reward-based systems leading to problem solving using the dog’s natural hunt drive.
Meeting Days: Sundays 3:30pm – 4:30pm. Class starts on: 11/14/2021

Class Cost: $75.00 per student and (1) dog
